This Full Moon Packs a Punch

Never underestimate the power of water.

This full harvest moon falls in the sign of Pisces, a water sign, and you could find yourself emotionally challenged before you can reap the harvest.

Despite all the hype, the full moon actually reaches its peak in the wee early hours of Saturday although it can be seen in the sky on Friday the 13th.

Dubbed a micromoon because it appears smaller than most full moons and is the opposite of a supermoon, it packs a lot of punch, especially emotionally.

This moon is likely to trigger unresolved feelings and unexpressed emotions, reminding you it's time to let go of anything holding you back before you move forward into the new season.

So be prepared to cleanse your life. Be prepared for any rose-tinted shine or belief to be washed away and for truths to emerge with the illumination qualities of this moon.

You may find that walking off feelings helps as Pisces is associated with the feet so even short walks may help you handle unresolved emotions. Do not try to control the waves of feeling, go with the ebb and flow and just let the feelings come and go before the quality of this moon washes them away.

If any full moon will give your crystals a full cleanse, this one certainly will.

The harvest moon, also known as the Corn Moon or Barley Moon, appears about a week before the fall equinox on September 23.

The School of Hidden Knowledge runs courses on subjects such as this at The Fortune Tellers' Tea Shop in Torquay, South Devon.
